Want to self-host a
Jobber MCP server?
Fair question. Open source Jobber MCP servers exist on GitHub, and if you are technical, running one yourself is a real option. Here is the honest decision:
Self-hosting fits when
- It is just you, running it locally on your own machine.
- You are comfortable with OAuth apps, API scopes, and a terminal.
- You want everything running on your own infrastructure, end to end.
- You enjoy maintaining your own tools, and tinkering is part of the fun.
It gets heavy when
- Your team wants in. Multi-user auth on a remote MCP server is genuinely hard to get right, and getting it wrong exposes your business data.
- You want scheduled briefings. The server has to be hosted, secured, and reachable around the clock, not running on a laptop.
- Jobber ships changes. API versions rotate, tokens rotate, scopes change. With a self-hosted server you keep up yourself, and when it does not support something you need, you wait or write it.
- Something breaks at 4:45 PM on a Friday, and you are the support team.
That second column is what the $47 buys, plus the parts you cannot see from a README: tools tuned so everyday questions do not chew through your Claude usage, updates when Jobber changes something, and a roadmap steered by what customers actually request. If the first column is you, genuinely: go build it, it is a fun project. We will still be here when the crew wants in.

Cancel from inside the app or straight from the Stripe billing portal, whichever is closer: a couple of clicks either way, no email, no retention call. And the deletion is on purpose: your dedicated server costs real money to run, so we do not warehouse dormant ones, and a clean exit means nothing of yours lingers on infrastructure you have stopped paying attention to. That is a security feature, not a punishment.

How much does JobberToClaude cost?
$47 per month, flat. That covers your own private connector, every capability, and up to 100 team members. There is a 7 day free trial, and no setup fees or hidden charges.
Is there an annual plan or a contract?
No. JobberToClaude is month to month. There is no contract, no annual commitment, and nothing to negotiate. You can cancel any month and that is that.
How does the free trial work?
The trial runs through Stripe and lasts 7 days with full access: your own connector, every capability. Cancel from inside the app or from the billing portal in a couple of clicks before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
What happens if I cancel?
Your subscription stops, and we deprovision your private server: your connector is shut down, the Jobber connection is disconnected, and your data is deleted from our systems. We treat cancellation as a clean exit by design, so nothing of yours sits on a server you are no longer paying for. If you come back later, setup starts fresh, which takes about 5 minutes.
Do I also need a paid Claude or ChatGPT plan?
Yes. Custom connectors require a paid AI plan: Claude's paid plans start at about $20 a month (Claude Pro), and ChatGPT's paid plans are in the same range. So the realistic all-in cost of running your Jobber account with AI is roughly $67 a month. Check Claude's and OpenAI's pricing pages for current rates.
Does my Jobber plan matter?
JobberToClaude connects through a developer app on your own Jobber account using Jobber's standard OAuth system, not through the plan-gated marketplace integrations. If your plan has any restriction, it surfaces in the first 5 minutes of setup, well inside your free trial, so there is no way to end up paying for something that cannot connect.
Is there a free, self-hosted alternative?
Yes. Open source Jobber MCP servers exist on GitHub, and a technical solo user can run one locally for free. What you take on is the operations: hosting it somewhere reachable if you want scheduled tasks, multi-user auth if your team needs access, token security, and keeping up when Jobber's API changes. JobberToClaude is those operations handled for $47 a month. Both are legitimate paths; it depends on whether you want to run infrastructure.
Are there per-task or usage fees?
